Frontend Developer Job Description
About the role

You will translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, accessible components, manage client-side state, and make sure everything loads fast and feels smooth. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and cares as much about the user experience as the code behind it.
Key responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces from design specs
- Own client-side state, performance, and cross-browser quality
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers on end-to-end features
Responsibilities
- Convert Figma or Sketch designs into reusable, pixel-accurate UI components
- Build responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and browsers
- Manage client-side state with tools like Redux, Zustand, or React Query
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and handle loading and error states gracefully
- Ensure WCAG accessibility with semantic markup, ARIA, and keyboard support
- Optimize bundle size, rendering, and Core Web Vitals for fast page loads
- Write component and end-to-end tests with tools like Jest and Playwright
- Maintain and extend the shared design system and component library
- Debug layout, styling, and browser compatibility issues
- Partner with designers to refine interactions, animations, and micro-details
Requirements
- 2 or more years building production web interfaces with a modern framework
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React, Vue, or a comparable framework
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser behavior
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
