You will protect existing revenue, uncover expansion opportunities, and make sure these customers see continuous value. Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of strategic accounts and their retention and growth targets
  • Build account plans that map stakeholders, goals, and expansion paths
  • Run regular business reviews that tie usage to measurable customer outcomes
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and lead those deals to close
  • Negotiate renewals and multi-year contracts ahead of expiry
  • Coordinate internal teams to resolve escalations and keep accounts healthy
  • Track account health signals and act early on churn risk
  • Develop relationships across multiple levels, from users to executives
  • Forecast account revenue and document activity accurately in the CRM
  • Act as the customer's voice internally, feeding needs to product and support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 4 or more years in account management, sales, or customer success
  • Proven record of growing and retaining large or strategic accounts
  • Experience negotiating renewals and expansion contracts
  • Strong relationship-building and executive communication skills
