You will answer tickets, calls, and chats, resolve common issues on the spot, and route the trickier ones to the right team. - Answer and log incoming support requests promptly
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues
- Escalate complex problems with clear documentation
Responsibilities
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, chat, and ticketing tools
- Log every issue accurately with clear steps, categories, and priority
- Diagnose and fix common password, email, printer, and application problems
- Guide users through step-by-step fixes over remote-support sessions
- Reset passwords and manage basic account access requests
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to specialists with full context
- Follow up on open tickets to confirm resolution and user satisfaction
- Track hardware handouts, returns, and simple asset updates
- Contribute fixes and FAQs to the shared knowledge base
- Meet response and resolution targets defined in team SLAs
Requirements
- High school diploma or associate's degree; IT coursework or certification a plus
- 0 to 2 years in a customer-facing or technical support role
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common office apps
- Clear, patient communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple tickets calmly
