About the role
We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to be the bridge between our data and the people who need to act on it. You will write SQL, build self-serve dashboards, and dig into the metrics that matter to marketing, sales, product, and operations. The ideal candidate is curious and precise, someone who not only reports what happened but explains why it happened and what to do next.

Responsibilities
- Write and optimize SQL queries against the data warehouse to answer business questions
- Design and maintain dashboards in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Define and document metrics so teams share a single source of truth
- Partner with marketing, sales, product, and operations to scope their reporting needs
- Investigate trends, anomalies, and drop-offs and explain the drivers behind them
- Build automated reports that replace recurring manual spreadsheet work
- Validate data quality and reconcile discrepancies across source systems
- Translate ambiguous requests into structured analyses with clear deliverables
- Present findings to non-technical stakeholders with clear visuals and narratives
- Maintain a semantic layer or metrics catalog so definitions stay consistent
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
- 2 or more years in a BI, analytics, or reporting role
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with at least one BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Proven ability to turn data into clear recommendations that stakeholders acted on
- Solid understanding of common business metrics across marketing, sales, or product
